Jenny Dowd’s workshop was fabulous. It was such a treat to get to know Jenny better and to understand her process, from the incubation of an idea to its fruition. She has a very refreshing outlook. The surface techniques she introduced us to were inspired. The pieces were made from bisqued tiles that were covered with terra sigillata, then stained with tea, wine, pastels, etc., then covered with various embellishments and wax.
