Tea Bowl/Sake Cup 95

A small tea bowl that has received a lot of attention from salt and flame in the kiln to elicit some wonderful flashing and “orange peel” salt effects in different areas, giving it a quiet sense of grace and beauty.

This would also make a wonderful cup for sake. A pleasure to hold in your hands.

The inside is glazed with Steel Blue Celadon.

Wheel thrown, faceted and salt fired to cone ten (2345F).
