Checked out the new show at Harvey/Meadows Gallery over the weekend featuring Sam Harvey of Aspen and Andy Brayman of Kansas City.
Sam is making wonderful hand-made tiles as well as showing for the first time his fabulous, colorful print/collages. His eye is very astute and his concepts quite interesting.
Andy’s work has a more formal, yet contemporary feel. His expert use of decals has my head spinning with the technology that comes to bear on his work.
